Hi, everyone in America. I am in Kenya in a small town called Kajiado, using the internet café. I am not sure I can upload my pictures but I am going to try. I am working in Iltareto, a primary school with ages from 2-16 years old. The children are fun to work with and very interested in me and my long hair. We came into town today to buy some dishes for the teachers because when lunch is served at the school some of the teachers have to wait for spoons and bowls to be used in order to eat.
The children pay about $100 a year to attend the school. Some of the families cannot afford to pay to send their children to the school. It would be amazing if we could give a child or two a scholarship. Education is very important and would be one of the greatest gifts you could give one of these children. There are many older children in class 8 who have large ambitions of being doctors and policemen.  At the end of class 8 the students take a standard national test written in English. The scores they make will determine what high school they can attend. It costs about $500 to attend high school for a year. I have asked the head of the school to choose 2 high achieving students with a need and give me profiles of each student so that if we raise enough money we can sponsor them with a year of high school.
Above I have stated my long term plans. I would also like to place permanent pencil sharpeners in each room. I need your help with this! Please click on the go fund me now and donate to help make one of these children very happy. Even $5 helps a lot.  Thank you for your prayers and your help.
I am learning so much over here that is hard to express in words. Most importantly,

all of the stuff in the world is just stuff that’s it. The important things in life are not how pretty our car looks or how easy it is to drive on the street. The most important things in this life are the people that we love.
All of the children from my Kenyan school say Supa!
The next blog I post I am hoping will be longer please understand I have very limited internet and electricity if you have a specific question pleas text me if you have my number or ask on here. I am working on getting more internet access.
